5 BEST Virtual Field Trips- Rss Reflection

As I was learning about the rss application on ning.com, I came across several informative education and technology blogs. One post on http://ilearntechnology.com/?p=1355 that had caught my eye was a post on virtual field trips. Field trips were always a highlight for me when I was a student and now assistive technology has made it possible to bring the class on a field trip without leaving the classroom. No money is neccessary and you can virtually take your students anywhere in the world. This post includes five of the best virtual field trips which include Smithsonian Musuem, UPM Forest Life, Moon on Google Earth, Planet in Action, AR Sights. These virtual field trips allow students to virtually visit the Moon, Smithsonian Museum, forests, Grand Canyon, the Eiffel Tower or the pyramids. It is so realistic and students will love it! It gives students opportunties to experience field trips that they would not be able to experience without virtual field trips. All you need is a computer and a projector! Check out some of these virtual field trips and take your students on one!
